It's over a year since I've been searching for that fare which would permit me to travel to Sydney to visit my dearest ma-in-law in her (now not so new) room at the Dougherty Apartments Retirement Village & Care Facility in Chatswood.

AirAsia provided the transport, my dear friend Dhun the shelter and I spent a happy week with my beloved Alice who took me around to all her activities and introduced me to her friends, buddies and carers. I also felt so pleased to be able to see Ursula (sis-in-law) and Bruce in their new apartment which has a Nursing Home attached and is just the perfect spot for them.

Having seen how happy Ursula is and how well cared for ma is, I can conjure up a mental picture of them in their new environments and that makes being so far away from them so much easier.
