Our home in Skellinthorpe Road, Lincoln
Robert Tyabji, Shah Alam, 17 February 2024
Following the recent sale of our Shah Alam house and in anticipation of our moving house to rented accommodation, I was shredding old files when I came across documents pertaining to the purchase of our home in Lincoln in November 1989.
In summary, Hootoksi had purchased a corner house at 308 Skellingthorpe Road for GBP 55,000 with Burton & Co, Lincoln as the Solicitors, through Sills & Betteridge as property agents and managers. She had paid a deposit of 14,255.00 as advance on the mortgage.

As has been mentioned elsewhere on this site, we nixed the sale of our Shah Alam house because of a disagreement with the buyer. Happily, we will now stay put in our beloved home.
