Sanjay Acharya visit, 18 - 20 May 2010

Hootoksi Tyabji, Shah Alam, May 2010

Sanjay Acharya, good old friend from way back in Bhutan, where Sanjay was the official government photographer and Rob was the UNICEF man on the ground, and later again in New Delhi where Sanjay was working on environment advocacy programmes. Author of one of the best coffee table books on Bhutan ever published, Sanjay now lives with his wife Sonya in Geneva where he heads the communication bureau of the ITU. In May he was traveling from a conference in Shanghai to another in Hyderabad, and we had convinced him that a stopover in KL was a good idea.

So, he was with us for two nights, and even though he was at his computer and on the phone for most of his visit, we loved having him with us. Sanjay is an avid glider pilot and a wonderful story teller!
