Adil moves into a new home, and acquires a puppy

Gibsons, Sunshine Coast, BC Canada, June 2022

The person who acquired the building where Adil was living decided to redevelop it, obliging Adil to search for a suitable house to rent. This was a very disturbing turn of events as finding accommodation on the Sunshine Coast is extremely difficult given the critical shortage of houses in the area. Fortunately after a few weeks of frantic searching, a friend offered him the perfect house on Davis Road in Gibsons, and he and the kids were able to move in without much difficulty. With two floors, a garden and four bedrooms, the house is large enough to comfortably accommodate the family, with additional space downstairs for a tenant. As it turned out, the person who bought Adil's bread distribution business as well as one of his trucks, has rented part of the downstairs. 

Three months later, the children and Adil were already growing vegetables in the garden! 

April 2023, Sunshine Coast

Ever since Adil's cat Raj Bellow passed, he and the children have been wanting a dog. They've now found the perfect puppy at a local breeder's fresh crop of Catahoula Leopard dogs. He's brown with dark spots so they're calling him Spotty Scottie for now. Scottie was brought home on 9'th April and settled in immediately, and has even begun accompanying Adil in his truck!
