Ma's Party Records

For 13 years from the 27^th February 1976 to the 12^th August 1989 my ma kept a meticulous record of all the entertaining she did in a special book which I found after she had passed.

In it, she recorded the date of the event, if it was a tea, lunch or dinner party, the names of the guests invited and the Menu she had selected. Often there are notes indicating the quantities of fish or chicken that she bought or the numbers of kebabs she made! If the event was catered, there is an order form pasted on one of the pages.
