Cavas Mamoo passes on, 9 December 1915 - 4 February 2012 - link to Pundoles

Cavas Lalkaka, eldest brother of Ma Roshan, and known to all of us 'kids' as mamoo passed away peacefully in Switzerland in his sleep on 4th January.

Ignoring my parents' advice, Cavas Mamoo gave me my first puppy, a Daschund we called Happy who always lived up to his name! Mamoo was a favorite of his grandfather and his mother and when he finished school he asserted himself by replying to an ad in The Times Of India to co–drive a Skoda car from Bombay to Czechoslavakia with the Czech owner. From there he went on to London where he studied aeronautics and met his wife Roshan (another story); and now he is being reunited with her, with Judy and with the Universal Spirit of Love. My ma who loved him fiercely said, "He had a good innings". His son Kaikoo and the rest of us carry his legacy of adventure and love.
