Hootoksi recognised by South Africa Embassy in Tanzania

Our 7-year stay in Tanzania afforded us ample opportunity to meet most of the diplomats and agency staff from around the world who were posted in Dar es Salaam. Our friendship with Thandi Lujabe-Rankoe, South Africa's high commisioner in Tanzania, grew close and Hootoksi was invited to sing at the Embassy's South Africa Womens' Day celebration on 9 August 1998.
